Before I approve this Mink, let me introduce myself. I'm from WCC, and this is Echo~

First off, we're going by human ages. So in other words, your character could be about 13 - 18. cx

Gender would be Stallion for males and Mare for females. You don't have to pick a job, but remember this: all the characters are in Ponyville. You have to have some sort of reason for them to be there.

Fix these, and I'll approve you Mink!

I don't think that would make much sense for a cutie mark. If he likes painting out his music, why not have it be a paintbrush in the shape of a music note?

Also; age is another problem. Echo got that covered.

I'm not an admin or anything, but I don't understand you choice of name.
Take Rainbow Dash for example.

Rainbow refers to her mane. It also possibly relates to her Sonic Rainboom abilities.
Dash refers to her speed and agility. To dash is to run very fast.

So I don't mean to judge your name skills, but usually for ponies, it is a adjective that describes them, and then a skill of their's. How do their parents know exactly what their special skill is? I don't know.
